I hold back my body,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Not quite dead.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Offer tiny crumbs of myself,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Enough for the birds.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

My heart wears a glove.<\/span><\/span>
\nA pulse<\/span> in silk,<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
And like a lady,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Gripping reigns, afraid to gallop<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Full and splendid,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
A tangled mess unwinding<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

I am a pilgrim travelling slowly,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
A changeling in flowers,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Stopping where the kindness is,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Avoiding strangers and the woman<\/span><\/span>
\nI once was; feckless, proud,<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nas open as unknowing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I am an infidel to love,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hardly here,<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Confined to seeking.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
